The market crash of 2008, which is classified by many economists as a large financial crisis affecting many Americans, refined his work ethic boundlessly. During the crash, Resendez witnessed homes being sold for negative profit in the community and he watched his father be forced to sell his dream home and move the family into a small rental unit to make ends meet. Among the hardships, like diamonds are formed under high pressure, Resendez learned to run his father’s business the most efficient and cost effective way, while still giving the clients more.
Pintail homes are inspired by Resendez’s love for the outdoors and wildlife. He loves camping, fishing, and being in nature. Resendez strives to create unique rustic homes which give any customer a sense of warmth, love, and comfort.
While Resendez is building homes full time, as Pintail Homes, he is fueling his passion by attending Texas A&M University-Kingsville to learn more about the trade. This is more than a job; this is his mission to give back to the community high-quality homes at an affordable value.
Pintail Homes provides more than a home for shelter; we deliver peace of mind, tranquility and superior service through our skilled professionals and their detailed craftsmanship.
From the initial design process to construction completion, we consider ourselves humble guests in your home, and as such, build you the highest quality home.
Raphael Resendez created Pintail Homes in 2014, after years of masonry and construction experience.
In his youth, he was self-motivated to follow in his father's and grandfather’s footsteps. He learned the basics of construction quickly through the actions and lead examples of his family members and mentors. At the age of sixteen, he worked part time as a bricklayer’s assistant and helped manage his father’s masonry company.
